Seasonal tour: October – November, sometimes early December, depending on the harvest.

Rtveli is one of the most beloved and significant celebrations in Georgia. It is grape-harvest time, when winemaking families come together to start the new wine season. For guests it is a rare opportunity to witness an age-old tradition with their own eyes and become part of a real Georgian festival.

During the trip guests take part in picking grapes. The harvest is then placed in a traditional press, where an ancient ritual is performed: grapes are crushed by foot, just as Georgian families have done for generations. Everything takes place in the lively atmosphere of music, conversation and Georgian hospitality.

Rtveli in Georgia is always more than just a harvest. It is a family celebration where relatives and friends gather, toasts are raised, music plays and laughter fills the air. After the work, everyone sits down to a shared table, tastes fresh grape juice and shares the joy of the beginning of a new wine season.
